So What's New?

A lot has been going on here as of late...and I haven't made writing any of it down in any form a priority.  SO here goes one big long post about the summer (that will never end...boo to Texas) and all of the fun Clyde family happenings.

So what's new?

-We went on vacation this summer (Ryan got an extended July 4th weekend - I got much longer)
-We bought a house and Ryan did it all himself...no realtor, nothin.  I was very impressed.  It's a tiny little dollhouse and I might write about it someday.
-We are about to have a baby any day now.   I'm hoping this little one holds off until Tuesday though so B can be with his grandma when it all happens
-B is currently in a very very cute stage where he talks up a storm and is the funniest ever.  He is also in a stage where he knows what he wants and likes to throw fits and doesn't like to go to sleep.  That is not the funniest.

That might not seem like "a lot" but it sure has seemed like a lot - big life stuff taking place.

Anyway, first things first.

We decided to fly to Utah to meet B's little twin cousins over the 4th of July weekend.  We hiked, played, slept, ate, and had lots and lots of fun with the Clydes.

Airports are fun when you like planes...just saying.  Also, please notice the cutest pose to the left.

Fourth of July festivities
Are those babies not all the cutest?  Also - B looks like a GIANT.
Best kisses ever! He was mostly soft with the babies - hopefully that will continue with his brother.

Do you think he likes his grandma a bit?  Yes, yes he does.

Family Hike!  Not going to say that I felt like I was in shape...nope! B did a good job though - he walked quite a bit.

Bowling - B is a pro now.  It held his attention for quite a long time

After the weekend Ryan had to leave to go back to work but B and I stayed with Erin so we could see his other twin cousins.  He was not so soft with them (sorry K and K for all of the hair pulling)

BONUS - we got to see this guy as well.  B called him Shaw for a while and now calls him Dod.

 Cute kids right?

It was fun hanging out at Erin's new house and seeing these three play together.  If only the bug didn't enjoy pulling their hair so much.

After Utah B and I headed to Washington to spend a week with the Curry clan.  He saw every single cousin on this trip!

I already wrote about the sad sad ear infection but I am so glad he at least had some fun.

B loves "Kennel" and dogs and grandparents.
Doing Itsy Bitsy with himself at the doctor - he broke out in a rash so we had to go get a new antibiotic prescription.  Trooper I tell you.

I LOVE his smile...love it love it.

Can you tell he has fun with his grandpa?

B was away from his dad for almost 2 weeks..it was sad for both of them but an AWESOME reunion.  When he saw Ryan at the airport he just kept saying Dada and looking at him in disbelief - "I can't believe you are actually here and not on a computer!"  It was so cute.  Those two boys are buds.

We have enjoyed the rest of our summer doing lots of "summery stuff" - lots of zoo, parks, pool, splash pad, and staying inside because it is Texas and it is unbearably hot here (at least for a pregnant mom - B would be outside all the time if he could).

B's form of golfing includes carrying the balls and placing them in the hole - he will also occasionally stick the golf club in the hole as well.  Hitting the ball toward/near the hole..no.

Yay for indoor activities that make him smile like that.

Safari nights at the zoo (in the evening when it has started to cool down but it still almost too hot to be outside - can you tell I don't like heat?)

He sometimes rides in the car but mostly not

 Arteeeest!  Notice the foot

Impromptu splash pad while shopping with Mama

Perot Museum downtown - it is super fun (annual membership a definite possibility).  B looooved the big dinosaur bones.  Also, how cute is he in that apron

Have I mentioned that he loves escalators (and elevators) - the Perot has a really fun one.  We could even see Ryan from there.
Coleman cam home from his mission and his first stop in the states?  DALLAS.  Check out the tongue on that giraffe

B still asks me for Coleman and this visit was in August.

 That smile...

He has fun in water, by water, around water - just loves his "lala"  He is playing in a pool in OUR backyard.  He calls it the nake (snake) - doesn't quite know what a dragon is yet.

Last pictures (for now)
On our most recent adventure we took Bryant on the DART train for the first time (he loves seeing it) and he was so happy.  He just kept saying TAIN TAIN!

He also got to ride on an escalator which always makes his day.

Enough for now.  I am somewhat caught up.  Yay
